Using CSS to Style the ins Tag

I had no idea what the ins tag was until I came across this blogs tutorial, Styling and Using the ins Tag explains what the ins and del tags do and how to style the ins tag with CSS. I think this little tid-bit can be useful when needing to update a post, especially when updating a sticky post.

I’m still learning CSS which is one reason this blogs design/layout has not been completed. I had originally wanted to use a fluid design rather than a static/fixed one but I’m finding it limiting in regards to design. If I knew more it might not be so limiting but I think I’m going to go with what I know and do fixed widths. I do have a layout in my mind, just not sure how to implement it using all CSS. But I guess I will figure it out or do something I already know how to do. There are a lot of good WordPress styles that have already been created but I want to do my own … I just gotta be different. ;)

BTW, I still haven’t gotten a single comment spam in my moderation queue since I installed The Spam Stopgap Extreme pluggin. Now if I can only get rid of referral spam. Referral spam is not a big deal since I don’t publish my logs but it’s annoying as hell and they use my bandwidth to spam me with. I’m resisting the banning of IPs because I might also stop legitimate users from accessing my blog. Most of the referral spam I get is coming from an Internet marketing company that appears to be associated with Gandi.net, which is a domain registrar. I’m not sure what the association is, maybe they are just using Gandi’s dns servers, I don’t know but if it continues I will ban Gandi’s whole range of IPs. I’ll play the wait-and-see card for now.
